New Waterfront Section of Bushwick Inlet Park Opens to the Public
By Y.M. Lowy
As warmer weather returns, Williamsburg residents looking for outdoor space now have something new to enjoy. A portion of the long-awaited Bushwick Inlet Park is officially open to the public.
While the full 28-acre park is still far from completion, the newly opened inlet section offers a simple but welcome addition to the neighborhood. The space currently features a boardwalk and a small sandy area along the waterfront, giving residents a place to relax and take in the views.
Plans for the future include more developed features such as water access with canoes and kayaks, but for now, the area provides a basic waterfront space close nearby.
