Mayor Eric Adams paid a visit to Williamsburg Hatzalah, accompanied by the new NYPD Commissioner. The visit aimed to introduce the commissioner to Hatzalah’s vital work and remarkable dedication behind its life-saving efforts.
The tour began with a walk through Hatzalah’s garages, where the mayor and commissioner saw the fleet of ambulances and emergency vehicles kept at the ready. Inside the dispatch office, they observed the communication hub where calls for help are swiftly answered, and responders are dispatched within moments.
After the tour, they sat down with the Hatzalah leaders to discuss how the organization and city agencies could work together more effectively.
