Man Arrested for Harassing Women in Williamsburg

Police have arrested a man accused of spitting on women in Williamsburg. Authorities say 45-year-old Anthony Caines has been charged with aggravated harassment in the second degree.

Surveillance footage shows one incident last week on Bedford Avenue and Grand Street, where a man lunged at a woman and spat in her face. Police say Caines is responsible for multiple similar attacks in the area, including threatening one victim with a knife.

Authorities continue to investigate and urge anyone with additional information to come forward.
