Major Donors to Join Satmar Rebbe on Historic Nesiya to Europe

Satmar chassidim were taken by surprise with the announcement that the Satmar Rebbe will travel to Europe, marking his first official visit there in many years. He will be accompanied by a group of major donors, each committing $500,000 toward the large new beis medrash in Kiryas Yoel.

The trip is scheduled for Cheshvan. On Monday night, a meeting was held in Kiryas Yoel where the first group of donors each committed the remarkable sum of half a million dollars. This fundraising effort is focused on covering the costs of the new beis medrash construction project, which was just recently inaugurated.
