IN TRIBUTE: The Veitzener Rebbetzin, a”h

It was with great pain and sadness that the news of the passing of Rebbetzin Shifra Toba Meisels reached the Williamsburg community. She was 71 years of age, and had suffered from a devastating illness.
The nifteres was a daughter of Rav Dovid Moshe Rosenbaum, zt”l, the previous Krechnifer Rebbe of Rechovot.
She was orphaned of her illustrious father at a very young age, but went on to greatness in middos and yiras Shomayim, and to establish a beautiful Torah family.
She married, ybl”ch, Rav Dovid Dov Meisels, the son of Rav Yosef Moshe Meisels, a son of the Veitzener Rov. She was his loyal partner in the operation of the prominent Veitzener Beis Medrash in Williamsburg, as well as in his myriad Torah endeavors.
With her passing, she leaves behind beautiful Torah generations, with children and grandchildren, many of whom are Talmidei Chachomim and marbitzei Torah.
The levaya took place on Sunday morning at the Veitzener Shul, 549 Bedford Avenue, and she was laid to rest in the Beis hachaim in New Jersey, alongside many of her illustrious family members.
In addition to her family who will be sitting shiva for her, the Rebbetzin’s passing has thrust into mourning her siblings, who are prominent Admorim and Rebbetzin’s around the world.
