Reports indicate that a historic celebration is being planned in Satmar as the Rebbe approaches the completion of his personal Sefer Torah.

According to reports, a large event is expected to take place on the night of Lag BaOmer in a warehouse outside Williamsburg, where the Siyum Kesivas Sefer Torah will be held, with thousands in attendance.

The coming day, the Hachnasas Sefer Torah procession will leave from the Rebbe’s house on Lag BaOmer afternoon. Children from all the Satmar Talmudei Torah of NY and NJ are expected to participate, marching along Bedford Avenue as the Sefer Torah is escorted to the central Beis Medrash.

The celebrations will continue there with spirited dancing and great joy.

Additionally, reports say that a first edition of Kol Yehudah, the Rebbe’s divrei Torah on the parshas, is set to be released at the event for the first time, bringing added excitement and anticipation among the chassidim.
