Hatzalah Williamsburg Switches Ambulance Fleet to Snow Tires Ahead of Expected Snowstorm
By Yisroel R.
With a winter storm expected to bring between four and eight inches of snow to Williamsburg, Hatzalah Williamsburg has begun switching its ambulance fleet to snow tires to help ensure safe and uninterrupted emergency response.
On this busy Erev Shabbos, volunteers were seen at multiple garages throughout the neighborhood working quickly to change tires on Hatzalah vehicles. The preparation is aimed at making sure ambulances can safely navigate snow-covered streets and respond without delay if emergencies occur during the storm.
Hatzalah officials said the effort is part of their ongoing commitment to public safety, ensuring crews are fully ready to respond safely and efficiently throughout the storm and into Shabbos.
