Friday Night Fire Causes Significant Damage to Hooper Street Apartment, B’H No Injuries Reported

A fire broke out Friday shortly after zman Shabbos on the roof of a three-floor house at 194 Hooper Street, resulting in significant damage to the third-floor apartment and the immediate evacuation of residents.
The fire started shortly after 5:00 p.m. on the roof, and the FDNY quickly responded with multiple units and dozens of firefighters battling the flames. The fire was brought under control at around 5:50 p.m., according to the FDNY.
Hatzolah also responded to the scene; B’H, no injuries were reported.
The third-floor apartment suffered heavy damage from the flames and water.
