Crosswalks Around Town Are Being Redone
By Idy Perl
While Williamsburg slumbers during the summer months, crosswalks and street corners all over town are being redone.
This will make it easier for pedestrians, especially those with carriages or in wheelchairs, to wait on the sidewalk until they can cross, and then safely make it across the street.
Residents are thankful for the City that chose to do this construction during the summer months when many residents are in the Catskills, and there is less foot traffic on the sidewalks.
