Children of Satmar Cheider Enjoy Special Tour at NYPD 90th Precinct

By Williamsburg 365 Staff

Students from the Satmar Cheider on Wythe Avenue toured the NYPD 90th Precinct.

They visited police cells, met youth officers, the Commanding Officer Captain Joseph J. Wernersbach, and the community affairs officers Kenneth Melendez and Kenneth Dubois, gaining valuable insights into public safety and community policing.

The tour was geared to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community, offering the students a firsthand look at the work of local police and fostering stronger connections with their community.
