Buy and Save Appliances Offering Free Air Conditioners!

Buy and Save Appliances is now an official vendor for Governor Hochul’s Home Energy Assistance Program for eligible New Yorkers to get free air conditioners and installation for the summer. 

To qualify, a household must include a child under 6, an adult over 60, or someone with a medical condition made worse by heat. Income limits and other requirements apply based on household size.

“High temperatures and humidity in the summer pose a grave threat to those with certain medical conditions, as well as older adults and young children,” said Governor Kathy Hochul. “This assistance is crucial for at-risk New Yorkers, and I encourage those who may be eligible to apply as soon as possible so they can stay cool in their home when the worst of the weather hits.”
