And Again: Human Remains Found in Brooklyn’s Park of Bones
By Y.M. Lowy
Skeletal remains were found near Brooklyn Bridge Park on Thursday evening, marking the fifth such discovery in the area this year.
The NYPD reported the remains were located near 45 Water St. at around 6:30 p.m.
Sources suggest the remains include part of a pelvic bone. This follows a series of similar discoveries, starting in August when a human skull and bones washed up near the carousel in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Since then, additional remains have appeared along the shoreline, raising questions about their source.
The NYPD continues to investigate, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available.
