Williamsburg Ranks As Fifth Noisiest District In NYC

New York City is...noisy, to say the least, but just how noisy is it?

In 2024, New York City residents throughout the 5 boroughs submitted over 753,000 noise complaints. Williamsburg, with the rest of Brooklyn District 1, which includes Greenpoint, ranked as the 5th noisiest district, and it's residents submitted 21,365 noise complaints

Bronx District 12, which includes Edenwal, Wakefield, Williamsbridge, Woodlawn, Fish Bay, Eastchester, Olinville and Baychester, came in first, with a total of 73,014 complaints.
