Williamsburg Community Leaders Meet To Discuss Pesach Strategies

By Idy Perl
This afternoon local leadership held a large meeting at NYPD Chief Henderson’s office to discuss strategies and plans for the hectic Pesach season.
Leaders from the NYPD, fire departments, sanitation department, the mayor's office, and other town officials were in attendance, along with representatives from Hatzolah, Shomrim, and local askanim.
At the end of the conference the Jewish community leaders presented Detective Kenneth Melendez and P.O. Kenneth DuBois from the NYPD Community Affairs with a special mezuzah plaque, as well as a gift to Chief Henderson, to thank them for their dedication and commitment to the community.
