Who Shovels the Bike Lanes? Meet: Mini Snowplows

By Y.M. Lowy
When winter hits Williamsburg, bike lanes aren’t left out in the cold. Thanks to a fleet of small, hardworking vehicles, the snow doesn’t stand a chance! These compact machines, equipped with tiny front plows, keep bike lanes clear and safe.
Recently, these snowplows have been actively engaged in clearing snow and applying salt to prevent ice accumulation on the bike lanes. Their compact design allows them to maneuver easily in tight spaces, ensuring thorough coverage.
These machines are equipped for year-round maintenance, too. When there’s no snow, they’re used for sweeping debris and keeping the lanes pristine.
