Water Shutdown for Lee Avenue and Wallabout Street Canceled

A planned water shutdown scheduled for Wednesday affecting the area of Lee Avenue and Wallabout Street has been canceled.

The cancellation comes at the request of Shimen Weiser, Vice Chair of Community Board 1, who asked that the work be rescheduled to take place during nighttime hours to minimize disruption to residents and local businesses.

Officials have not yet announced a new date for the shutdown. Residents will be notified once the work is rescheduled.
