Viznitz Bnei Brak Rebbe Confirms Attendance For Great-Grandchild’s Wedding

By Idy Perl
It was confirmed that the Viznitz Bnei Brak Rebbe will be coming to Williamsburg to attend the wedding of his great-grandchild and will conduct a large Shabbos in Viznitz Williamsburg.
In recent months there was uncertainty regarding the Rebbe’s attendance at the wedding due to the Rebbe’s weak physical condition caused by medical procedures that he is currently undergoing, but plans have now changed. The Rebbe will be traveling to Los Angeles for a procedure and a complicated surgery at the end of Shevat, in Parshas Terumah, exactly one week after his great-grandchild’s wedding.
After the wedding the Rebbe will be in Williamsburg over Shabbos to take part in the Shabbos Sheva Brachos, which will take place in the large Viznitz Beis Medrash on Lee Avenue. The three grandfathers of the kallah will all be in attendance; the Viznitz Rebbe from Bnei Brak shlita, the Viznitz Rebbe of Williamsburg shlita, and the Viznitz Rebbe of Beit Shemesh shlita. In addition, thousand of Viznitz chassidim from near and far will be joining as well, and the shul will be set up to accommodate the large crowds.
The wedding, which was originally planned to take place at the Beis Medrash in Williamsburg, will be moved to a larger venue to accommodate the larger crowds that are expected due to the Rebbe’s presence.
