Three-Car Crash on BQE

Emergency services responded to a three-car collision on the BQE near the Wythe Avenue exit in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The accident occurred around 1:30 AM and the NYPD, FDNY, and EMS arrived promptly at the scene to assist those involved. 

During the investigation, one of the drivers was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The individual was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI).

The crash caused temporary traffic disruptions on the BQE, but the scene was cleared by early morning. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
