Thieves Flee After Purse Snatching Last Night

A woman’s purse was snatched by two men on a bike yesterday evening around 8:30 p.m. on South 8th Street, between Barry and Wythe Avenue.

As the woman screamed for help, one of the suspects ran down Wythe Avenue toward Broadway while the other stayed on the bike and rode off with the stolen purse.

The thieves remain at large, and police are continuing their investigation.
