Tefillos Needed for the Biksad Rav Recovering After Motzei Shabbos Car Accident

The Biksad Rav was struck by a car on Motzei Shabbos while walking home from shul on Bedford Avenue near V’Yoel Moshe. He was conscious and alert at the scene and was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment.
Family members say the Biksader Rebbe is doing better today. He is recovering from a head injury and is expected to stay in the hospital for a few days for observation as he continues to improve.
The driver stayed at the scene briefly, about ten to fifteen minutes, but then fled. An arrest warrant was issued, and authorities say they have the vehicle’s plate and identifying information. NYPD and Shomrim are investigating the case.
The name for tefillos is Harav Yisroel Eliezer ben Sarah Miriam. Everyone is asked to please daven for his refuah sheleimah.
