Shomrim Sets Up Command Center for Special-Needs Missing Person in Manhattan

Williamsburg’s volunteer organization, Shomrim, lead a search on Sunday afternoon in Midtown Manhattan for a missing special-needs person, setting up their command center and dozens of volunteers canvassing the busy streets of New York City.

The search was joined by West Side Hatzalah, Bergen County Chaveirim and other volunteers and ended after an extensive search around nearby streets.

The person went missing in Bryant Park and was located about an hour after the call came in, a few blocks away from where he was reported missing.
