Pupa Announces Affordable Wedding Hall Initiative

By Idy Perl
At the annual Pupa melava malka, held this past week in the Continental Hall in Williamsburg, the administration of the Pupa mosdos announced a new initiative to assist kehilla members with making more affordable weddings.
At the melava malka, which was attended by the Pupa Rebbe, the menahel hamosdos, R’ Yoel Friedman, announced that they are collaborating with the well-known Kesser Tzvi hall to offer affordable weddings to members of the community.
In the Pupa mosdos building on Wilson Street, two event halls, the large Kesser Risel and the smaller Kesser Tzvi, are available for various simchas. Until now only Kesser Risel was available for weddings due to its larger size, but the mosed will now offer Kesser Tzvi for smaller weddings at a more affordable price. The exact details are still being worked out, with the hope that this will come into effect by the coming year.
A similar initiative is being developed for the new halls in the Pupa Talmud Torah building in Boro Park, which is currently being completed. The administration is ironing out the details for a package price in order to allow community members to marry off their children with peace of mind.
