NYPD Vehicle in Crash on Hayward Street Corner Harrison Avenue

An NYPD cruiser and another vehicle collided, sending both cars into a sudden stop at the corner of Hayward Street and Harrison Avenue.

The crash happened around 8:05 a.m. as the two vehicles came together in the middle of the intersection. In the civilian car were a couple of children, while officers were inside the marked police vehicle. Both cars were damaged in the impact, but no major injuries were reported.

EMS responded and checked on everyone involved at the scene.
