NYPD Responds to Shootings on Martin Luther King Jr. Place

On Tuesday evening, the NYPD responded to reports of gunfire on Martin Luther King Jr. Place and Tompkins Avenue. Preliminary reports indicate that a group of youths randomly discharged firearms, flooding the streets with bullets.
Several parked vehicles outside the housing projects sustained damage, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. Multiple shell casings were found at the scene, prompting a large NYPD response. Authorities established a crime scene to conduct a thorough search of the area.
