NYPD, Community Leaders Meet in Preparation for Purim
Yidel Liechtenstein, Clergy Liaison for the NYPD 79th Precinct, together with Yanky Izkowitz, Coordinator of Williamsburg Shomrim, met with representatives of the New York City Police Department to review preparations ahead of the upcoming Purim holiday.
The discussion focused on enhancing community safety, managing anticipated crowds, and coordinating traffic plans throughout the area.
Both community leaders and police officials highlighted the value of ongoing coordination, saying that strong communication between the NYPD and local organizations helps ensure a safe and orderly Purim for everyone in the neighborhood.
