New “Meitiv” Cost-Price Supermarket Set to Open in Williamsburg
By Williamsburg 365 Staff
Final preparations are underway for the highly anticipated opening of a new large-scale supermarket in Williamsburg operating on a cost-price model, aimed at easing the financial burden on local residents.
The supermarket, to be known as “Meitiv,” is a collaborative initiative led by a group of prominent askanim, with funding provided by a team of philanthropists dedicated to addressing rising living costs within the community.
According to sources involved in the project, the store will offer a wide range of essential grocery items at or near cost price, making everyday necessities significantly more affordable for families. The concept has already proven successful in other locations, including Monsey and Kiryas Joel, where similar initiatives have been operating and expanding.
More details about the store’s operations are expected to be released as they become available.
