Multiple Injuries Reported in Two Accidents on the BQE Near Wythe Avenue
By Williamsburg 365 Staff
Late last night, two separate multi-vehicle accidents occurred on the BQE near the Wythe Avenue exit, leading to significant injuries and the complete closure of both sides of the highway.
The first collision happened on the eastbound side of the BQE. Emergency responders, including Hatzalah and FDNY, were quickly on the scene to assist the injured.
Shortly after, another crash took place on the westbound side in the same area. Both incidents left multiple people injured, with six individuals transported by Hatzalah and EMS to local hospitals for further treatment.
The accidents forced authorities to shut down the BQE in both directions for an extended period, causing major traffic delays in the area. The highway was eventually reopened once the scenes were cleared.
