Mayor Adams Joins Williams Plaza Tenants for Annual Family Fun & Back-to-School Event

Mayor Eric Adams joined the Williams Plaza Tenants Association on Wednesday for their annual Family Fun & Back-to-School event held at 255 Havemeyer Street.

The festive gathering brought together families, community leaders, and city officials to celebrate the start of the new school year with activities, resources, and entertainment for children and parents alike.

During the event, special honors were given to NYPD Chief Richie Taylor and PSA3 Commanding Officer Elton D. Cohn in recognition of their dedicated service to the community.

The program highlighted the strong partnership between city leadership, law enforcement, and local residents, ensuring both safety and support for Williamsburg families as they head into the school year.
