Kiddush Hashem on Flight from New York to Israel: Hatzalah Volunteers Heroically Save Life

A miraculous and heroic Kiddush Hashem occurred on a flight from New York to Israel when a passenger suffered a massive heart attack, prompting the plane to make an emergency landing.
Onboard the flight, a number of dedicated Hatzolah volunteers from Williamsburg and Montreal came together to provide lifesaving assistance.
Among them was David Itzkowitz, a dedicated Hatzalah member from Williamsburg, along with brothers, Hersh Melech and Sam Brach, both licensed EMTs. Additionally, Yidy Itzkowitz, a volunteer from Montreal’s Hatzalah, joined the efforts.
Together, they stabilized the patient and helped avert a potential tragedy. Their quick and heroic actions not only saved a life but also exemplified the values of selflessness and commitment to others. This remarkable event serves as an incredible Kiddush Hashem, showcasing the dedication and heroism of the Jewish community even in the most unexpected circumstances.
