Gunshots Heard on Spencer Street; Numerous Shell Casings Found

Numerous shell casings were discovered on Spencer Street between Willoughby Avenue and DeKalb Avenue following reports of gunfire on Wednesday night. The shooting stemmed from a road rage dispute involving a vehicle with four occupants and a moped with two riders.

Two individuals are currently in custody and no injuries were reported. The vehicle involved in the shooting was later recovered at Bedford Avenue and Willoughby Avenue.

NYPD’s 79th Precinct and Crime Scene Investigation units remain at the scene. Williamsburg Shomrim volunteers responded quickly and provided video footage to investigators.
