Free Bus Service Between Domino Park and Suspect Park Suspended Days After Launch

By Y.M. Lowy

A free bus service connecting Domino Park and Prospect Park has been suspended just days after launching as part of a promotional campaign by skincare brand The Ordinary.

The route began operating last Tuesday and was scheduled to run until June 9, offering hourly rides between the two parks. The service drew media attention for providing a direct connection between locations that typically require multiple subway or bus transfers.

On Friday, the buses were temporarily taken out of service. Before the launch, organizers projected the route could serve as many as 1,000 riders a day. It remains unclear when service will resume.
