Fire Breaks Out on Vernon Street

Late last night, the FDNY responded to an active fire in a three-story building at 219 Vernon Avenue.

The fire started in the basement and required swift action to prevent it from spreading. Firefighters brought the situation under control before major damage occurred.  

No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
