Cyclist Struck and Killed by a Vehicle at Union Avenue and Lynch Street

A cyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle on Sunday at the intersection of Union Avenue and Lynch Street at around 11:20am.

NYPD, Hatzalah and EMS responded to the scene immediately and transferred the cyclist to Kings County Hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead a short while later.

The crash is being investigated by the NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad.

The NYPD Highway Unit arrested the driver for Driving While Intoxicated.
