Chavivim Holds Safety Training Ahead of Pesach, Distributes Member Discounts

Chavivim held a safety refresher training for its members, with a focus on gas and carbon monoxide awareness as the community prepares for Pesach.

The training comes at a time when many households begin changing, cleaning, and kashering their gas ranges, which can increase the risk of gas leaks or carbon monoxide exposure if not handled properly. Members were given updated guidance on identifying hazards and responding to potential emergencies.

The training stressed the importance of proper ventilation, checking connections, and staying alert to warning signs such as unusual odors or symptoms of carbon monoxide exposure. The refresher aimed to ensure that members are fully prepared to assist safely and effectively during the busy pre-Pesach period.

In addition to the safety training, Chavivim distributed special discount coupons to its members, helping ease the financial burden of Pesach shopping by partnering with participating stores that offered discounts as part of the initiative.
