Catskills Hatzalah Conducts Successful Advanced Training Exercise with Multiple Agencies

Catskills Hatzalah’s Search and Rescue Team, along with their Drone Team, successfully conducted an advanced training exercise in collaboration with multiple agencies. This exercise showcased the coordinated efforts and expertise of all participating agencies.
Participating agencies included:
• New York State Police:
o Bureau of Criminal Investigations
o Special Operations Response Team
o Aviation Unit
o Underwater Recovery Team Divers
o UAV/Drone Team
• New York State DEC Police
• New York State Forest Rangers
• New York State Park Police
• New York State Park Rangers
• New York State OEM
Also present at the exercise were Sullivan County Deputy Commissioner and Fire Coordinator John Hauschild, and EMS and 911 Coordinator Alex Rau. Both officials collaborate closely with Catskills Hatzalah throughout the year under the guidance of Sullivan County Commissioner of Public Safety Scott Schulte, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to the region's health and safety.
The exercise featured multiple scenarios designed to simulate live and complex search and rescue operations, testing the capabilities and coordination of all agencies involved. The complexity and precision of these training exercises underscore the dedication of every participating agency to ensuring community safety.
