Bus Erupts in Flames on Flushing and Steuben

A dramatic scene unfolded as a bus went up in flames at the corner of Flushing Avenue and Steuben Street, right near the park.

Thick black smoke billowed into the sky, visible for blocks, as the vehicle, which resembled one of the mini buses used by NYC Commuter services, became fully engulfed. Flames tore through the bus as bystanders watched in shock.

No injuries have been reported. The fire has since been extinguished, but the vehicle is completely burnt out, and the cause of the fire is now under investigation.
