BDE: Reb Mordechai Nissim Masry, z”l

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Mordechai Nissim Masry, z”l, a beloved and well-known Williamsburg resident. He was 89 years of age. 

The niftar was born in Argentina, and served as a melamed in the local Cheder for many years. 

He moved to Williamsburg four decades ago, and for as long as anyone can remember, he lived above the Satmar butcher at 82 Lee Avenue. 

The niftar established a beautiful Torah family, both in Argentina as well as in America. 

He davened for many years in the Satmar Beis Medrash in Rodney Street, and this is where his levaya will take place at 6:00 this evening.
