BDE: Reb Alter Baruch Schonbrun, z”l

We regret to inform you of the passing of R’ Alter Baruch Schonbrun, a longtime mispalel in the Karlsburger, Sorvosher, and Satmar Shuls in Boro Park. He was 94 years of age. 

The niftar was known for his ever-present smile and his ehrlichkeit. 

He was close to many tzaddikim including the Divrei Yoel of Satmar, Rav Yechezkel Roth and the Beirach Moshe of Satmar. 

R’ Alter Baruch was known as an extremely fine person by all those who knew him. 

The levaya will take place at 6:00 at Satmar Shul on Rodney St, and 7:30 in front of the Karlsburger Beis Medrash on 53rd Street.
