YS GOLD

We are deeply saddened to inform you of the petirah of Rav Yosef Rosner, a grandson of the Viener Rebbe, shlita. He was a young 27 years of age, and suffered for years with a devastating illness.

The niftar was the son of Rav Aaron Yeshaya Rosner, a son in law of the Viener Rebbe. He was named Yosef for his illustrious great grandfather, the Vayechi Yosef of Pupa.

He was diagnosed with the bitter machlah as a child, and b’chasdei Hashem succeeded in emerging from it. Sadly, the bitter disease returned about two years ago.

Rav Yosef suffered with grace and dignity, and with deep emunah. He continued serving his Creator with great mesirus nefesh despite the suffering, serving as an inspiration to all those who knew him.

He sadly passed away this afternoon.

The levaya will take place in Williamsburg later this evening, and Kevurah will be at the Puppa cemetery in Westchester.

Yehi zichro baruch.
