BDE: R’ Moshe Chaim Kaufman, z”l

We regret to inform you of the passing of R’ Moshe Chaim Kaufman, z”l, a longtime Williamsburg resident. He was 90 years of age. 

The niftar was a Holocaust survivor in his youth, and nevertheless proceeded to rebuild with heroism and mesirus nefesh. 

The son of the niftar was the hoiz bachur by the Beirach Moshe of Satmar, a calling that he fulfilled with great devotion. 

The niftar was a longtime mispalel at the Sigheter Shtiebel, where the Beirach Moshe once served as the Rov. 

Despite the many yisurim that he suffered in his life, Reb Moshe Chaim kept his emunah and bitachon with strength and determination. 

He was niftar this Shabbos at the age of 90. 

The levaya will take place at the Sigheter shtiebel at 152 Hewes Street at 10:00. Kevurah will be at the bais hachaim in Kiryas Yoel.
